Job summary

SPEC Services, Inc. in the Greater Houston area seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead midstream engineering projects, including gas and liquids facilities, pipelines, and brownfield work.

You will drive scope, schedule, budget, and quality from kickoff through delivery while serving as the primary client contact. You will coordinate across mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and process disciplines, mentor teams, and maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and practical problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical).
• 10+ years in engineering, project engineering, and/or project management.
• 7+ years in midstream or technically related project work.
• Experience leading technical workstreams and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent, multidisciplinary midstream engineering projects.
• Own scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery commitments from kickoff through completion.
• Develop project execution plans, staffing strategies, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate across mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, process, and pipeline engineering.
• Lead constructability planning in operating facilities, including tie‑in and sequencing.
• Manage execution risks, scope growth, and change requests.
• Oversee QA/QC and technical consistency across deliverables.
• Lead client working sessions, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
• Build long‑term client relationships through reliable delivery.
