Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Physical Security Manager to lead 24/7 security operations (Physical Security, Plant Protection, Incident and Emergency response) and contract security personnel. This position reports to the Director, Industrial Security and manages all Physical Security operations across a developing team.

The role requires building security strategies, conducting risk analyses, coordinating across facilities, and ensuring security programs are integrated with business needs.

Qualifications

• 13+ years hands-on experience across physical security domains.
• 6+ years of leadership developing security programs and budgets.
• Experience in security technology, guard management, and defense‑in‑depth concepts.
• Current DOD Secret clearance (Top Secret preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Own the full physical security assessment lifecycle from analysis to mitigation tracking.
• Lead comprehensive security assessments across facilities and regions.
• Define and maintain assessment strategy ensuring standards are applied.
• Conduct risk analyses for infrastructure and implement risk reduction strategies.
• Develop and implement security control strategies balancing security and operations.
• Build repeatable processes and tools to accelerate delivery.
• Communicate findings to practitioners and executives via reports and presentations.
• Lead project and program execution across the security portfolio.
