Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Physical Domain Lead to provide senior-level oversight, coordination, and technical leadership for the Physical Domain within POTFF. The role supports SOF readiness and performance across sports medicine, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and nutrition.

The position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance or eligibility, with the role performing in a demanding, mission-focused environment in the Continental US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Professional certification or licensure such as ATC, PT, CSCS, RD/RDN.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and advising senior stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate with clinical, operational, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and planning activities.
• Oversee large multi-project programs including planning, staffing, and control.
• Create and execute project work plans and revise to meet changing needs.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain resource plans and required documents.
• Baseline projects and track metrics for forecasting.
• Review team deliverables before presenting to management and customers.
• Apply PMI methodology and enforce project standards.
• Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
• Minimize risk exposure on projects.
• Communicate project information to management, stakeholders, and customers.
• Escalate issues promptly and manage dependencies.
• Ensure project documents are current and stored properly.
• Capture and reuse lessons learned; ensure proper project closure.
• Supervise staff and provide direction and feedback.
• Escalate workload prioritization when needed and coordinate vendors.
• Draft contracts, SOWs, RFPs/RFIs, change requests, and requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement teams.
