Job summary

Maximus is seeking a POTFF Psychological Domain Lead to provide senior-level clinical, technical, and programmatic leadership for the Psychological Domain within the POTFF program. This role supports U.S.

Special Operations Forces personnel and their families by integrating clinical psychology, operational psychology, behavioral health, resilience, assessment and selection, and performance optimization services. This position is pending upon contract award and requires U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience required.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in at least one U.S. state.
  • Minimum seven years of post-doctoral experience providing independent psychological services in complex environments.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance or be able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction, technical oversight, and subject matter expertise for Psychological Domain services across POTFF locations.
  • Lead clinical, operational, and performance psychology services including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and executive coaching.
  • Develop and evaluate evidence-based behavioral health initiatives aligned with operational requirements.
  • Advise leadership on readiness, trends, staffing needs, and program improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate referrals, crisis response, and continuity of care with military facilities and stakeholders.
  • Promote standardized practices, quality assurance, and compliance with professional standards and government guidance.
