Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Physical Domain Lead to provide senior-level oversight, coordination, and technical leadership for the Physical Domain within the POTFF program. This role supports SOF mission readiness through integrated human performance services including sports medicine, strength and conditioning, injury mitigation, rehabilitation, and performance nutrition.

This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance or eligibility, with strong experience leading multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Athletic training, physical therapy, exercise science, kinesiology, nutrition, human performance, or related field).
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience required; equivalent education/experience considered.
• Professional certification/licensure such as ATC, PT, CSCS, RD/RDN recognized.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and advising senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of injury prevention, rehabilitation, training, recovery, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of a project and coordinate planning activities.
• Lead large multi-project programs, including staffing and resource planning.
• Develop and maintain project work plans and monitor progress.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities; manage risk and quality control.
• Ensure documentation, milestones, and lessons learned are captured and applied.
• Serve as escalation point and liaise with vendors and stakeholders.
