Job summary

Optum is seeking a Senior Phlebotomist to join our Everett site, performing venipuncture, specimen handling and EKGs with a focus on patient care and accuracy. The role requires traveling to Optum Draw satellites as needed and a commitment to 40 hours per week, 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Requirements include WA MA-Pbt certification, a phlebotomy certificate, and BLS. Proficiency with MS Office and excellent communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Washington state MA-Pbt certification to perform capillary and venous procedures.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy Certificate program.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Conduct waived and moderate complexity testing and EKGs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and clinic policies.
