Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks a Senior Phlebotomist Float 5 in Everett, WA, to perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and waived/moderate testing across multiple locations. The role requires travel to Optum draw sites 100% of the time and a strong lab and patient-care background.

Expect a 40-hour week with a schedule set by supervision; proficiency in EKGs, quality control, and HIPAA compliance is essential. Benefits reflect our comprehensive UHG package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State of Washington MA-Pbt certification required.
• Completion of a Phlebotomy certificate program.
• BLS (AHA) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following SOW. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and properly dispose of bio-hazardous materials.
• Perform waived and moderate complexity lab testing, including microscopy, and maintain accurate records of results.
