Job summary

Mindlance seeks a Patient Services Representative II to draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and communicate procedures clearly to patients. The role involves traveling across locations to cover Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and superb customer service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric and geriatric), and phlebotomy certification preferred;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Verify patient demographics and labeling, ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain records and documentation with attention to confidentiality and quality.
• Provide superior customer focus and communicate procedures clearly to patients.
• Travel to multiple locations to cover Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed.
