Job summary

Walgreens is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering excellent patient care. Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist in dispensing, verify drug interactions, and help manage daily workflow.

You will maintain accurate patient records, enter information in pharmacy systems, and support inventory and KPI reviews to improve service levels. A customer-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, verifying medicine and checking for interactions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in inventory management and workload scheduling.
• Provide customer assistance and direct patients to OTC options when appropriate.
