Overview
This is a remote position for Pharmacy Technicians that are highly motivated and capable of collaboration with pharmacy staff, Pharmacy Directors, VPOs, and other operational team members to ensure the success of our pharmacies.
The role requires understanding all pharmacy technician functions, leadership skills, strong strategizing abilities, and project management capabilities.
This is a remote opportunity based out of your home with 75% travel to assigned locations. The ideal candidate will reside west of the Mississippi (Central through Pacific Time Zones), be near an airport, and be adaptable, flexible, and effective in a fast-paced environment.
Licensures: PTCB and/or licensed in your state of residence.

Responsibilities
On-Site Collaboration:
- Work under the supervision of the Sr Technician, Internal Operations.
- Collaborate with the Site Pharmacy Director to improve workflow and productivity to meet performance and customer expectations.
- Assist in implementing company initiatives, core processes, and quality improvements to enhance service quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Support operational quality and cost strategies in dispensing and procurement activities.
- Monitor purchasing and inventory to meet goals like inventory turns and controlled drug monitoring.
- Implement policies for safe drug procurement, storage, and disposal.
Technician Responsibilities:
- Fill prescriptions, package medications, and prepare medications including non-sterile compounding.
- Work in controlled substances areas, operate automated machines, assist in inventory management, and input patient data into systems.
- Mix and package IV medications, sanitize work areas, and understand departmental policies and workflows.
Project Management:
- Assist in project planning and execution under the Sr Pharmacist’s guidance.
- Track and report on project progress and participate in policy and strategy development.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years LTC technician and leadership experience; 10 years preferred.
- Licensure: Multistate or state-specific licensure and national certification required; additional licensure preferred.
- Travel requirement: 75%+ travel expected.

Salary Range
USD $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
