Overview

This is a remote traveling position for Pharmacy Technicians who are highly motivated and capable of collaborating with pharmacy staff, Pharmacy Directors, VPOs, and other operational team members to ensure the success of our pharmacies.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of all pharmacy technician functions, leadership skills, strong strategizing, and project management capabilities.

This is a remote opportunity where you work from home and travel approximately 75% to your assigned locations. The ideal candidate will reside west of the Mississippi (Central through Pacific Time Zones), be within a reasonable distance to an airport, and be adaptable, flexible, and capable of functioning effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.

Licensures: PTCB and/or licensed in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

On-Site Collaboration:

• Assist the Site Pharmacy Director in implementing workflow and productivity measures to meet performance targets and customer expectations.
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to execute company initiatives, core processes, and quality improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
• Support operational quality and cost containment strategies, including inventory management and procurement activities.

Technician Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions, package medications, and prepare medications including compounding as permitted.
• Operate automated machines, monitor inventory, and assist with data entry and IV preparation.

Project Management:

• Assist in planning and executing team projects, monitor progress, and participate in policy and strategy development.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required.
• Work Experience: At least 5 years LTC technician experience and leadership experience; 10 years preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Multistate licensure/registration and national certification required; additional licenses preferred.
• Travel: 75%+ travel required.

Physical demands include standing, sitting, walking, and lifting, with accommodations available as needed.
