Position Overview:

This is a remote, traveling position for highly motivated Pharmacy Technicians capable of collaborating with pharmacy staff, Directors, and operational teams to ensure pharmacy success. The role requires understanding all pharmacy technician functions, leadership skills, strategic planning, and project management. The candidate must reside west of the Mississippi River, be near an airport, and be flexible to travel approximately 75% of the time.

Licenses & Certifications: PTCB and/or state licensure, with multistate registration preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. On-Site Collaboration: Work with pharmacy management to improve workflows, ensure compliance, and implement quality and cost strategies.
2. Technician Duties: Fill prescriptions, prepare medications, work with automated systems, manage inventory, and handle IV medications.
3. Project Management: Assist in planning, monitoring, and reporting on pharmacy projects and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years LTC technician and leadership experience; 10 years preferred
• Required: Multistate licensure and national certification
• Travel requirement: 75%+
