Overview
This is a remote position with 75% travel for Pharmacy Technicians who are motivated and capable of collaborating with pharmacy staff, Directors, VPOs, and operational teams to enhance pharmacy success. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy technician functions, leadership, strategizing, and project management skills. The ideal candidate resides west of the Mississippi (Central to Pacific Time Zones), is near an airport, and can multitask, adapt, and perform effectively under stress.

Licensures: PTCB and/or State License

Responsibilities:

On-Site Collaboration:

• Implement workflow and productivity measures with the Site Pharmacy Director
• Execute company initiatives, quality improvements, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance
• Monitor inventory and procurement strategies
• Ensure safe drug procurement, storage, and disposal

Technician Responsibilities:

• Fill prescriptions, prepare medications, work with controlled substances, and assist in inventory management
• Input data, prepare IV medications, and maintain sterile environments

Project Management:

• Estimate, plan, and monitor team or project work with the Sr Pharmacist
• Participate in policy development and outcomes planning

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• 5+ years LTC technician and leadership experience; 10+ preferred
• Multistate licensure and national certification required
• Travel of 75%+ required

• Standing, sitting, walking, lifting
