Position Details

This position is remote and must reside in Arizona or Pennsylvania.

Role Overview

As an Advanced Therapy Senior Pharmacy Technician, you will assist patients in receiving medications for managing rare and/or chronic diseases. You will engage with patients, insurance companies, and various departments to process orders and ensure timely shipment. This role is detail-oriented, primarily involving working on our computer system, and includes providing guidance to peers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter prescriptions into our system, ensuring correct evaluation under insurance coverage and proper dispensing.

  • Interact directly with healthcare providers, researching issues with pharmacists and doctors, and guiding patients about medication coverage.

  • Manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and documenting information accurately.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of one year of Pharmacy Technician or related experience

  • Valid Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration as required by state laws

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry skills

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)

  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work a rotating schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM ET, and 9:30 AM to 6 PM once a month

Additional Requirements

If working remotely, internet service must be via cable broadband or fiber optic with speeds of at least 10Mbps download and 5Mbps upload.
