Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist. You will assist with prescription filling, patient information entry, and ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing, while delivering friendly customer service.

You will help manage inventory, process payments, and coordinate with clinicians. Requires PTCB/ExCPT certification, English fluency, and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician.
• English reading, writing and speaking fluency.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, and check for interactions.
• Support inventory management and safeguard assets.
• Handle customer questions and guide to OTC products.
