Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement).

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Models and shares customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy and manage prescription workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify medicines, and check for interactions.
• Assist pharmacists in scheduling, inventory management, and KPI review with management.
• Support clerical duties, claims processing, and cash handling as required.
• Lead Pharmacy Department inventory management activities and ensure proper stocking and cleanliness.
• Assist with clinical services, pickups, and coordination with healthcare providers.
