Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist and store team. You will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy, and help with inventory management while ensuring quality and compliance.

You will support customer service, handle calls, process third‑party claims, and help provide clinical services under supervision. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist by entering patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring prescribed medications and verify correctness.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management activities and assist with ordering and storage.
• Handle third‑party claims, process payments and support customer/service interactions.
