Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and to process prescriptions using pharmacy systems. You will help maintain inventory, handle cash, and support customer service at the store.

In this role you’ll greet customers, resolve questions, and contribute to a distinctive Walgreens experience. Prior Walgreens experience and PTCB certification are preferred, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer good math skills for filling prescriptions accurately.
• Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with and coach technicians in pharmacy operations and cashiers on registers.
