Job summary

The role requires a PTCB or ExCPT certification, at least one year of retail/hospital pharmacy experience, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Immunization training may be required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and fill prescriptions.
• Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow and inventory.
• Support pharmacist in clinical services and coordination with providers.
