Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to engage customers, assist pharmacists, and support daily pharmacy operations in a team-focused store environment.

You will greet and help customers, process prescriptions, manage inventory, and coordinate with physicians as needed, while maintaining compliance and patient safety. Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
• Assist in pharmacy practice under pharmacist supervision, including entering patient/drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Support scheduling, workflow, and inventory management.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist and follow QA procedures.
• Handle cash, guide customers to OTC products, and manage calls requiring pharmacist involvement.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory, including ordering and receiving shipments.
• Analyze data with the Pharmacy Manager/Staff Pharmacist to improve performance.
• Assist with clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare providers.
• Develop relationships with local medical community to foster growth.
• Support Pickup program execution.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and orderly Pharmacy Department area.
