Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy team in daily operations. Under supervision, you will greet customers, process prescriptions, verify information, and assist with inventory and clerical duties to ensure accurate and timely service.

You will work with pharmacists to maintain workflow, review patient data for accuracy, and support customer care by answering questions and guiding them to appropriate OTC products and services.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Under supervision by the pharmacist, assist in the practice of pharmacy and enter patient and drug information, ensuring accuracy.
• Assists pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow and handles related clerical duties.
• Leads Pharmacy Department inventory management activities and supports QA programs.
