Job summary

Covenant Medical Center is seeking a part-time Acute Care Pharmacy Tech III to dispense unit-dose and stock meds to nursing units and departments. Duties include filling oral and IV meds, triaging orders, and maintaining the automated dispensing system (ADS).

Minimum 2 years in a health-system pharmacy with PTCB certification or 3 years hospital pharmacy if not certified. Texas license required, prior ADM/EHR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Upon hire: Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with PTCB certification OR 3 years hospital pharmacy if no PTCB.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit-dose and stock medications to nursing units and departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
• Maintain integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
