Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License at hire.
• 2+ years in integrated health system with PTCB cert OR 3 years hospital pharmacy if no PTCB.
• Experience with ADMs and EHR.

Responsibilities

• Filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications; triage patient orders.
• Maintain the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
• Provide advanced knowledge in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.
