Job summary

Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Acute Care Pharmacy Tech III for part-time, with evening and day shifts. You will fill and dispense oral and IV medications, triage orders, and maintain the automated dispensing system to ensure prompt, accurate delivery to nursing units.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, Texas Pharmacy Technician License at hire, and either PTCB certification with 2+ years in an integrated health system or 3+ years in hospital pharmacy without PTCB.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician License required at hire.
• PTCB certification preferred or hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill/dispense oral and IV medications to nursing units and departments.
• Triage patient orders and maintain the automated dispensing system (ADS).
• Ensure accuracy and prompt delivery with two or more specialty knowledge areas.
