Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee license or Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician license upon hire.
Minimum 2 years in pharmacy within an integrated health system with PTCB certification, or 3 years in hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.
Experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

Fill and dispense unit-dose and stock medications to nursing units and other departments.
Fill/dispense oral and IV medications and triage patient orders.
Maintain the accuracy of the automated dispensing system (ADS).

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License

PTCB certification or eligibility

Graduate of Pharmacy Technician program (preferred)
