Job summary

Omnicell seeks a Director, Assistant General Counsel – Pharmacy Services to lead the negotiation of commercial and ecosystem agreements that support outpatient pharmacy offerings. This leader will guide terms, due diligence, and cross-functional collaboration across privacy, product management, operations, and sales.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on contract work, mentoring attorneys, and driving rapid deal velocity within risk guidelines for a US-based team.

Qualifications

• J.D.; member in good standing of a state Bar.
• 10+ years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• 10+ years drafting, reviewing, and negotiating professional service/consultant contracts.
• 10+ years collaborating with internal stakeholders in negotiations.
• 5+ years in pharmacy/specialty pharmacy or pharmacy-adjacent industry.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as advisor to sales and business leaders to develop commercial strategy and drive deal velocity.
• Negotiate and review commercial contracts in line with risk guidelines.
• Negotiate and review ecosystem partner contracts (reseller, software licensing, etc.).
• Support new offerings with customer-facing terms and enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization for due diligence.
• Coordinate workflow, allocate resources, and standardize processes.
• Develop, motivate, and lead attorneys and legal professionals.
• Implement training for sales and business stakeholders on evolving practices.
• Liaise with go-to-market teams for seamless commercialization of pharmacy offerings.
