Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. is seeking a Director, Assistant General Counsel – Pharmacy Services to lead commercial contracting for outpatient pharmacy offerings. This player-coach role negotiates agreements, develops customer-facing terms, and partners with sales, product, and compliance to drive strategic initiatives.

The role requires JD, 10+ years of contracting experience, and deep HIPAA/privacy knowledge, with remote US-based work and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

J.D.; member in good standing of a state Bar.
10+ years of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
10+ years of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating professional service and/or consultant contracts.
5+ years of experience in pharmacy/specialty pharmacy or pharmacy-adjacent industry.
Strong working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH and state privacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Serve as an advisor to sales and business leaders to develop commercial strategy.
Negotiate and review commercial contracts while adhering to the organization’s risk management guidelines.
Negotiate and review contracts for ecosystem partners (e.g., reseller, software licensing, etc.).
Support the development of new offerings and enhancements to existing offerings, including through the development of customer-facing terms.
Work collaboratively with a multitude of stakeholders across the organization as part of due diligence.
