Job summary

The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services division is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician Representative to lead and support pharmacy production workflows on-site. This role emphasizes accurate execution, training responsibilities, and collaboration with supervisors to meet productivity and quality goals.

Key duties include workload distribution, equipment operation, troubleshooting, SOP adherence, and cross-training of technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year pharmacy experience.
• General PC knowledge and e-mail abilities.
• Knowledge of dispensing pharmacy concepts and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate heavy work volumes.

Responsibilities

• Distribute workload and supervise team members.
• Operate production equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Inform teams of equipment malfunctions.
• Serve as the first line resource for questions/issues for team members.
• Promote a positive work environment for the team.
• Identify and document issues impacting performance and productivity.
• Provide input regarding solutions and process improvements.
• Ensure SOPs and policies are followed and productivity goals are met.
• Assist in training and documenting technician procedures.
• Cross-train team members to cover production functions.
