Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Lead Representative to manage workload distribution and monitor workflow for the assigned area, ensuring timely and accurate completion. This on-site role serves as a primary resource to supervisors, cell owners and team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain Missouri State Pharmacy Technician license.
• 3+ yrs relevant working experience in a pharmacy dispensing setting preferred.
• 1+ yr leadership or team development experience preferred.
• General PC knowledge: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email skills, preferred.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within dispensing pharmacy
• Experience troubleshooting problems in a pharmacy dispensing environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule when needed and ability to stand for the full shift.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, troubleshoot problems, and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Distribute workload and workflow for assigned area, including scheduling and resource shifting.
• Serve as first line resource for questions/issues and coordinate with supervisor; demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Manage issues impacting productivity; offer solutions, communicate status and escalate as needed.
• Assist Supervisor in ensuring policies and SOPs are followed and goals for productivity and quality are met/exceeded.
• Assist in developing, documenting and updating policies; assist in training and validating Automation staff; ensure cross-training of team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
