Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned leader to own end-to-end delivery for Pharmacy Applications. You will align business goals with technical execution, drive platform modernization, and ensure governance across SDLC, with strong collaboration across engineering, integration, QA, and product teams.

Leading a dedicated Pharmacy Applications team, you will manage delivery plans, budgets, capacity, and vendor outcomes while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent.
• Experience leading cross-functional delivery teams (Engineering, Integration, QA, PM).
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, middleware, APIs, SQL-based data access, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability in estimation, planning, SDLC governance, and operational delivery execution.
• Experience managing delivery plans, budgets, and capacity across multiple initiatives.
• Experience operating in regulated or operationally critical environments.
• Experience owning application roadmaps, platform health, prioritization decisions, and vendor outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own intake and prioritization of break/fix work, technical debt, operational enhancements and remediation initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of Pharmacy Applications across intake, build/configuration, integration, and run.
• Establish platform strategy, priorities, roadmap, and investment recommendations.
• Define and maintain multi-year application roadmaps aligned to business priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Engineering, Integration, QA, PM, Infrastructure, Security, Product.
• Partner with APS, Pharmacy Operations leadership on platform impacts and regulatory risk.
