Placements24 seeks a Senior Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover Welkom, Free State, promoting a broad portfolio of medicines to doctors, specialists and pharmacists. This field-based role requires extensive travel within the territory and a track record of exceeding sales targets.

You will build relationships with KOLs, conduct presentations, stay abreast of industry trends, and report progress via CRM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, drug mechanisms, and therapeutic areas relevant to the product portfolio.
• Exceptional sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong understanding of Welkom, Free State and surrounding areas.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• High level of self-motivation, organization, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within Welkom, Free State.
• Promote a range of pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, providing accurate and compelling product information.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, pharmacists, and hospital administrators.
• Conduct regular product presentations, detailing sessions, and educational events for healthcare providers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and therapeutic area developments.
• Manage sales activities, track customer interactions, and report sales progress using CRM software.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.

• Provide market feedback and insights to the sales and marketing teams to inform strategy development.
• Attend national and regional sales meetings and training sessions.
