Placements24 seeks a Sales Representative to serve farmers in Welkom, Free State, promoting a wide range of agricultural chemicals and related products. You will build strong client relationships, deliver technical advice, and conduct product demonstrations across the territory.

The role requires crop science knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to travel frequently while meeting sales targets and maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in agriculture.
• Strong knowledge of crop science and farming practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• CRM and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell agricultural chemicals and related products to farmers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and seek new sales opportunities.
• Provide technical advice based on crop needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and field trials.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Plan routes and schedule appointments to manage sales territory.
• Process orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Deliver excellent customer service and post-sale support.
