Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel is seeking a senior leader to drive end-to-end sourcing and planning for pharma meetings, overseeing teams across sourcing, contracting, planning, onsite execution, and budget management.

You will coach and develop a team, align client expectations, and lead initiatives to improve program results and efficiency while maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing pharma meetings teams.
• Proven people leadership, including coaching and driving team performance.
• Deep expertise in pharma meetings sourcing and planning technologies (e.g., Cvent).
• Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including Open Payments (Sunshine Act).
• Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Drive account financial performance by reviewing forecasts, costs, and monthly settlements.
• Ensure accurate invoicing, reporting, and tracking of event-level financial data.
• Monitor profitability by analyzing labor, commissions, margins, and targets.
• Support growth through cost validation, proposal development, and profit drivers.
• Lead and coach team leaders; manage hiring, onboarding, and training.
