Job summary

American Express Global Business Travel seeks an experienced leader to head pharma meetings operations in the United States. You will guide a team delivering end-to-end sourcing and planning, ensuring client service, operational excellence, and financial performance.

You will oversee managers across sourcing, contracting, planning, onsite execution, and budget management for one or more accounts, focusing on coaching, performance, and capability building while supporting client needs and driving

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in pharma meetings teams
• Proven people leadership and coaching experience
• Deep expertise in pharma meetings sourcing and planning
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance incl. Sunshine Act
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team delivering end-to-end sourcing and planning for pharma meetings
• Oversee team leaders across sourcing, contracting, planning, onsite execution, and budget management
• Drive forecast accuracy, cost validation, and monthly settlements
• Ensure accurate invoicing, reporting, and profitability analysis
• Build client and supplier relationships and lead reviews
• Coach, hire, onboard, and foster an inclusive culture
