Job summary

American Oncology Network is seeking a PET/CT Technologist II to join our radiology team. The role focuses on accurate image acquisition, safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals, and maintaining high QA standards in a patient‑centered environment.

Minimum three years of PET/CT experience is required, with NMTCB or ARRT certification and CPR/BLS. On-site schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, at Messino Cancer Centers in North Carolina.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years active experience as a PET/CT Technologist.
• Certification by NMTCB or ARRT is required; dual radiographer/CT preferred.
• Must hold current CPR/BLS certifications and a valid state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Inject radiopharmaceuticals and contrast per SOP and care standards.
• Operate PET/CT scanner to acquire diagnostic cross‑sectional images.
• Perform QC tests on PET/CT and hot lab equipment; document results.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure safety per ALARA principles.
• Explain procedures to patients and assist during tests; maintain records.
