Job summary

Texas Oncology in Plano East Cancer Center is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to perform PET imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and support QA with medical director and management.

Level 1–Sr will be offered based on experience; requires CNMT/ARRT(N) certification and an AMA-accredited degree. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, PTO, a 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and LTIP options.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an AMA-accredited program; PET-CT certification.
  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) and/or ARRT(N) certification and state licensure where applicable.
  • Level 2 requires at least two years of PET or nuclear medicine experience; Level Sr requires four years of nuclear medicine/PET experience.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic PET imaging procedures including injection of radiopharmaceuticals and administration of IV/bowel/contrast as applicable.
  • Sets up protocol, positions patients, reconstructs and transfers images; ensures QA and compliance with safety standards.
  • Schedules procedures and assists with front-office tasks to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Maintains accurate patient demographics, reports, and file management; supports data collection for follow-up and teaching materials.
  • Controls daily quality assurance measures and reports equipment malfunctions; protects patient and staff according to safety standards.

Education
