Job summary

American Oncology Management Company is seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist I to join the radiology team. The role involves administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating PET/CT equipment, and ensuring high-quality images while maintaining ALARA principles and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Preferred: BS Degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field.
• Certification as NMTCB/ARRT; radiographer or CT credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inject radiopharmaceuticals and contrast adhering to SOPs.
• Operate PET/CT scanner to acquire diagnostically acceptable images.
• Maintain quality control tests on PET/CT equipment and hot lab.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and documentation in EMR; ensure ALARA safety.
• Maintain active NM/PET certification and state license where required.
• Comply with HIPAA, safety, and department policies.
