Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Personal Lines Underwriter III to serve as SME for underwriting inquiries and escalations. You will handle complex personal lines applications, bind requests, endorsements, and risk evaluations with authority, while mentoring junior underwriters and supporting leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Property/Casualty insurance underwriting principles.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills for complex risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to mentor underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite complex personal lines applications, inspections, and endorsements.
• Make high-level risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions on high-value policies.
• Evaluate borderline exposures and advise leadership when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior and mid-level underwriters and contribute to training.
