Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Underwriter III to serve as the SME for personal lines underwriting. You will handle complex policies, provide risk-based recommendations, and support agents with policy submissions.

The role is fully remote and requires leadership of junior underwriters, with a focus on adherence to underwriting standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Property/Casualty underwriting principles.
• 7+ years of personal lines underwriting experience, including homeowners.
• Strong knowledge of insurance statutes, regulations, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Independently review and underwrite complex personal lines applications, inspections, and endorsements.
• Make high-level risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions on complex policies.
• Respond to agent and client inquiries via calls, chats, and tasks.
• Mentor junior and mid-level underwriters and support leadership with complex risks.
