Job summary

PEAK6 is seeking a Senior Underwriter III for fully remote work in the US. You will independently review complex personal lines applications, set risk and pricing decisions, and advise agents and clients on coverage.

The role includes mentorship, compliance, and process improvements to drive underwriting excellence. Required is 7+ years of personal lines underwriting experience with homeowners knowledge, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of personal lines underwriting experience including homeowners.
• Advanced knowledge of Property/Casualty underwriting principles.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently review and underwrite complex personal lines applications and endorsements.
• Make high‑level risk selection, pricing, and coverage decisions on complex policies.
• Respond to agent and client inquiries via calls, chat, and tasks.
• Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and process improvements.
• Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to departmental training.
