Job summary

Relation Insurance Services seeks a seasoned Personal Lines Service Leader for the Small Business Unit in Raleigh, NC. You will mentor a team of Advocates, Account Managers and Client Service staff, address escalated issues, and coach performance while implementing process improvements.

You will lead hiring, set goals, and collaborate with HR and leadership to optimize service delivery, budgeting, and cross-sell opportunities. A P&C license is required.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license required in the home state.
• 4-year degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• 8+ years of account management in personal lines insurance.
• Experience with EPIC and AMS360 is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and general office software (Excel, Word).
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Personal Lines Service Leader role and mentor team Advocates, Account Managers and Client Service staff.
• Address escalated client issues and provide performance coaching.
• Lead team meetings, 1:1s, and regular development activities.
• Partner with Service Team Leadership and HR to resolve performance concerns.
• Participate in hiring and interviews; coordinate training and resources.
• Assist with cross-sell opportunities and ensure timely service delivery.
• Review time/attendance and maintain service standards.
• Stay updated on industry information and adopt innovative technology.
