Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paralegal experience in personal injury or civil litigation.
• Proficiency with LexisNexis and Westlaw for legal research.
• Familiarity with iManage and PCLaw document management.
• Strong organizational and deadline management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client interaction.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements in personal injury cases.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and facts.
• Manage case files using document management systems and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with clients for interviews and collect medical records and reports.
• Track case deadlines and court filings to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Support litigation processes, review documents for relevance, and help with deposition prep.
• Maintain communications with clients, insurers, medical providers, and stakeholders; protect confidentiality.
• Prepare detailed status reports for attorneys and clients on a regular basis.
• Assist with data entry, filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
