Job summary

Viper Staffing Services L.L.C. is seeking a highly organized Personal Injury Paralegal to support lawsuits from inception through resolution.

This onsite role in California requires 3+ years of paralegal experience focusing on personal injury or civil litigation, with proficiency in LexisNexis, Westlaw, and document management systems. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury law or civil litigation support.
• Proven knowledge of procedural law related to personal injury cases as well as general & commercial litigation practices.
• Proficiency in legal research tools including LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with iManage, PCLaw, and document review software is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at client interaction and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Experience handling confidential information with integrity and discretion.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), legal drafting, proofreading, and document management systems
• Ability to perform detailed legal research and support complex litigation processes effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and settlement agreements related to personal injury cases
• Conduct thorough legal research using platforms such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and factual development
• Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and up-to-date
• Coordinate with clients for interviews, gather medical records, police reports, and other pertinent evidence necessary for case development
• Track case deadlines and court filings to ensure compliance with procedural law requirements
• Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, assisting with deposition preparation, and organizing trial materials
• Maintain effective communication with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and other stakeholders while handling confidential information with discretion
• Prepare detailed reports on case status updates for attorneys and clients regularly
• Assist in administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
