Job summary

SCA Health in Minnesota is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU to support perioperative care across facilities. You will assess patients pre- and post-operatively and coordinate care with the surgical team.

The role requires at least one year in PreOp or PACU, current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. You will follow facility policies, document care, and ensure patient safety throughout the anesthesia recovery process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience.
• Current state licensure to practice.
• BLS/BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification if pediatric care is included.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies.
• Interpret information from monitors and manage patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Develop an individualized perianesthesia plan of care and implement it.
• Provide hand-off reports and document nursing care completely.
