Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions seeks a Perception Engineer IV to lead perception system design, integration, and validation for autonomous heavy equipment in complex environments. You will develop CV, sensor fusion, and environmental modeling solutions enabling autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and precise container handling.

The role requires 8+ years in perception/robotics software, strong C++/Python, ROS/ROS2, and experience with embedded platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing perception, computer vision, robotics, ML, sensor fusion, or autonomous systems software.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Experience with cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS/GNSS, IMUs, Linux, and ROS/ROS2.
• Experience developing production-quality software using version control, automated testing, CI, and configuration management.
• Strong analytical, debugging, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and integration of perception algorithms for autonomous vehicle applications.
• Develop perception capabilities: detection, segmentation, tracking, and environmental modeling.
• Fuse data from cameras, LiDAR, radar, GPS, IMUs, and encoders.
• Define requirements, architecture, metrics, and validation criteria for perception features.
• Evaluate system performance via SIL, HIL, simulations, and field tests.
• Mentor engineers and conduct design reviews across teams.
