This role is a 100% remote PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer position focused on architecture, installation, upgrade, and ongoing operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments. Expect collaboration with product, design, engineering, and operations teams to deliver durable, well‑documented solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch/OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and operate PeopleSoft environments across development, test, training, and production.
• Lead PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) image applications, and patch deployments.
• Manage application servers, process schedulers, web servers (WebLogic), and the integration broker gateway.
• Administer Elasticsearch / OpenSearch deployments supporting PeopleSoft search.
• Perform PeopleSoft system copies, refreshes, and clones across environments with durable, documented outcomes.
• Implement and tune database connectivity, including Oracle Database administration tasks with DBA teams.
• Configure PeopleSoft security at application, web, and infrastructure layers.
• Operate PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling where applicable.
• Design and operate HA/DR strategies for PeopleSoft environments with stakeholders.
• Develop automation tooling using shell, Python, or Ansible to reduce toil.
• Monitor system health and performance, leading capacity planning and tuning.
• Provide hands-on post-go-live support, triaging incidents and driving durable fixes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks for onboarding engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers through code/design reviews and knowledge sharing.
