Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced PeopleTools Consultant to own architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade, and ongoing technical operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments. You will lead the technical backbone of the platform, including upgrades, image applications, security configurations, search server operations, and cloud/middleware integration.

The ideal candidate combines PeopleTools expertise with Oracle/Linux fundamentals and modern DevOps practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch/OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, upgrade, and operate enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
• Own the technical backbone of the PeopleSoft platform — including upgrades, image applications, security configurations, and integration with cloud/middleware platforms.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements into engineered solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform code/design reviews to raise engineering quality.
• Demonstrate strong engineering discipline and clear communication in production environments.
