Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer for a fully remote U.S. role. You will own architecture, upgrades, security, and cloud/middleware integrations for enterprise PeopleSoft environments.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of PeopleSoft/PeopleTools experience, deep Oracle Linux/Unix skills, and strong DevOps practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
12+ years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and operate PeopleSoft environments across development, test, training, and production.
Lead PeopleTools upgrades, PUM image applications, and patch deployments.
Manage application servers, schedulers, web servers (WebLogic), and integration broker gateway.
Administer Elasticsearch/OpenSearch deployments for PeopleSoft search.
Perform system copies, refreshes, and clones with durable, well-documented outcomes.
Develop automation tooling using shell, Python, or Ansible.
