Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Framework Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. The ideal candidate will own the PeopleSoft backend—PeopleTools upgrades, image applications, security configurations, and integration with cloud/middleware platforms—utilizing strong Oracle DB, Linux/Unix, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities include code/design reviews, mentorship of engineers, and shipping robust solutions across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
• Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
• Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
• Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
• Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade and ongoing operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
• Lead PeopleTools upgrades and PUM initiatives.
• Manage security configurations, search server operations, and integration with cloud/middleware platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and uphold engineering discipline through design/code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
