Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft PeopleTools Developer for a 100% remote role based in the United States. This position offers a direct path to influence enterprise PeopleSoft environments and collaborate across cloud, middleware, and database technologies.

You will lead upgrades, security configurations, and integration efforts, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with product, design, and operations teams to craft robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Five or more years of PeopleSoft PeopleTools administration experience.
Hands-on experience with PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
Strong experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, and PeopleSoft application/process scheduler servers.
Experience administering Elasticsearch / OpenSearch in support of PeopleSoft.
Working knowledge of Oracle Database administration.
Strong Linux/Unix skills and shell scripting experience.
Familiarity with PeopleSoft Cloud Manager or equivalent automation tooling.
Experience operating HA/DR for PeopleSoft.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Own the architecture, installation, configuration, upgrade, and ongoing technical operation of enterprise PeopleSoft environments.
Manage PeopleTools upgrades, image applications, security configurations, search server operations, and cloud/middleware integration.
Translate ambiguous requirements into well-engineered solutions and lead reviews; mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver reliable, scalable PeopleSoft solutions.
